Arrival Information for Fez Medina

If you choose to reserve a property with Fez Medina, this is how we will arrange
to meet you and get you settled into your property: Upon confirmation of your reservation,
we will give you the name and cell phone number of your Fez Medina concierge. Depending on
your final time of arrival and your type of transportation to Fez, we will arrange a
rendezvous for him to meet you, and also provide you with back-up instructions in
case your arrival is delayed. Don't worry—we have never had a problem finding a guest!
Your concierge will hire a small cart or "carrosa" for your baggage
and lead you down the main route of the medina to your property. He
will get you settled in, and then your concierge will be yours during
your stay to facilitate anything you might need.
We can arrange - either in advance, if you prefer, or on the spur of
the moment in Fez, day-trips by private car to Volubulis or Meknes. We can
provide you in advance with a schedule of costs for various day-trips. You
would pay your driver directly. Fez Medina does not mark up these prices
and we will personally vouch for their being a standard price - often the
same as could normally be negotiated with a Grand Taxi for equivalent time
or distance - and a superior service.
Making Reservations
To confirm a reservation, we require a 30% deposit authorized on your credit card. Deposits are non-refundable in case of cancellation. However, if you are unhappy with your property for any reason, we will not charge the unused portion of your deposit to your card. (Please note: The 30% deposit will be run on your credit card as an authorization only, and will not be charged to your card unless you cancel your reservation.) Deposits for this property may be made by Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
If you wish to use a credit card for your deposit authorization, please do not send your credit card number via email. There are two ways safely to transmit your credit card number to us: 1) Fax us at our secure fax number in America at 1-904-212-8814, or 2) Call us in America at 1-831-724-5835 and leave your credit card information on our secure voice mail. Please remember to include the card's expiration date, type of card, your name as it appears on the card, your full billing address, and the VIN number (the last three digits of the number on the reverse side of your card, by the signature line).
Balances may be paid upon your departure in Fes, by cash in dirhams at the current bank exchange rate, or via credit card. If you made your reservation by credit card authorization, we can process your balance to the same credit card on your request, as long as the expiration date of the card exceeds your check-out date by at least 2 weeks. If the card will expire by this time and you would like to pay your balance by credit card, please call or fax us with your new card details prior to leaving for Fes.
