Occasionally, Fez Medina hosts tours in Fez for small groups of individuals interested in the restoration process in the Fez Medina. Participants will be housed in restored traditional houses in the Old City, and will explore the Fez Medina in unusual depth, including:

• Visits to houses currently under restoration and lively discussions with the owners about their adventures and misadventures in tampering with the destiny of a historic house
  
• Visits to unrenovated historic houses currently on the market in Fez
  
• Visits to workshops of the Fassi artisans whose skills make these renovations possible, including masters in the arts of wood and plaster carving, traditional furniture making, and the laying of zellighe mosaic in traditional patterns informed by the science of sacred geometry
  
• Visit to a traditional mosaic factory, where the intricate patterns of Moroccan zellighe mosaic are fired, glazed and shaped
  
• Private visits to UNESCO-restored monuments and buildings of exceptional historic interest
  
• Day trips to Meknes and the Roman ruins at Volubulis

Fez Medina, L.L.C. is in the process of scouting for remarkable sites in the southern oases of Morocco. Selected restoration tours will continue south to explore the astounding mud architecture of the ksours. These tours are benefits for future restoration projects in the Fez Medina and elsewhere in Morocco. Each tour is created on an individualized basis.
